Hi Anne!
Thanks for taking the time to read my blog….and thanks for your question!
The brand character, avatar, or heroine creates aspiration. She is completely aligned and consistent. No one in real life has this. We as customers are many things, we have many preferences, likes and dislikes.
I love to wear Prada Sport one day and Dosa the next.
But a character is truth, all the time…..never veering off course.
And to create a brand, we need consistency.
In addition, the industry often refers to a target customer by age. Style has no age.
